Mexico City, Mexico: USIMECA announced that it has recently delivered a total of 255 model E-200 refuses bodies to Mexico City and surrounding cities. Mr. Cesar Morreira of USIMECA and Mr. Innacio Galindo of G+H Maquinaria are shown delivering the units to the Mayor of Mexico City.

Mexico City, Mexico: EL Industries International announced that G+H Maquinaria Equipo Municipal S.A. has been awarded a contract for the supply of 20 Vac-Cons for the Public Works Department of Mexico City (DGCOH). This in in addition to the eight Vac-Cons ordered in 1998 for end users in Mexico.

QuayaQuil, Ecuador: EL Industries International announced that it's Ecuadorian distributor EICA has been awarded a contract for the supply of 11 Vac-Cons to the sewer company in Guayaquil (ECAPAG). This increases the number of Vac-Cons owned by ECAPAG to 21.

Rio di Janeiro: EL Industries International to market USIMECA refuse bodies.
On January 1, 2000 Sr. Cesar Moreira of USIMECA announced that USIMECA has appointed EL Industries and their world wide network of environmental equipment distributors, to represent USIMECA's line of rear and side loading refuse bodies.

According to Dodge Ferreira, President of EL Industries International, the addition of the USIMECA line of refuse bodies will permit EL's distributors to participate in the low to mid compaction market segment of the rear loading refuse marketplace. "When combined with the Leach line of high compaction bodies, the addition of the USIMECA line will give our distributors a total of 8 body models - all with varying sizes and compaction rates- to market. This will permit them to be better able to meet the exacting needs of their - and our customer base. USIMECA is the largest manufacturer of refuse bodies in South America (the fourth largest in the America's) with an outstanding reputation for quailty. The two lines will fit together like a hand in a glove", said Ferreira. "This, when combined with other solid waste systems, such as compactors, roll on / off, transfer stations and reduction equipment will enable our distirbutors to be able to solve almost any problem in the solid waste industry. Our distributors now have the most expansive line of solid waste equipment in the world available from one source.

BARRINGTON, IL: EL Industries International announced that since it's inception in 1965, they have exported over 6000 Leach refuse bodies.

BOGOTA, COLUMBIA: EL Industries International announced that LIME, an environmental contractor, has purchased a quantity of 10 of the new MadVac PS300 litter collection to help in their efforts to keep Bogota clean.

ENZ - the world's largest manufacturer of extremely high quality nozzles used in cleaning sewers and other high pressure applications and EL Industries Internaitional announced that they will cooperate in promoting the ENZ line through their local distributors. In addition, ENZ nozzles will be available for sale with the Vac-Con line of combination and water jetting equipment.

Galbreath, VacCon and Leach announced awards in 1999 honoring EL Industries International for the outstanding performance in the sales of their equipment in the overseas marketplace.
